<p class="text-muted mb-3">HG Recruitment are looking for HGV Drivers Class 1 and Class 2 for ongoing work involving a mixture of multidrop and trunking work for our client based in Crewe. The role involves clean and straightforward delivery to distribution centres. It would be working for a very well established parcel delivery company.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver days – £15.11 or £16.93 (approx. £831.05 weekly , circa £43,214.60 per annum)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver nights – £16.62 or £18.63 (approx. £914.10 weekly , circa £47,533.20 per annum)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 2 Driver days –  £14.60 or £16.36 (approx. £803.00 weekly , circa £41,756.00 per annum)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 2 Driver nights – £16.35 or £18.32 (approx. £899.25 weekly , circa £46,761.00 per annum)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving and Delivering: Operate articulated lorries (HGVs) over 3.5 tonnes, transporting goods to various locations, including local, national deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading of vehicles to ensure that all items are secured properly for transit, minimizing the risk of damage.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Route Planning: Plan delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival at destinations, adapting to traffic and weather conditions as necessary.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Customer Interaction: Maintain regular contact with site personnel and provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies, including vehicle maintenance checks and reporting any issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV C+E (Class 1 or Class 2) licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Digi Tacho & CPC cards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good national geographical awareness</p>
