HGV Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Connect Driver Solutions is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our retail distribution client based on the outskirts of Inverness (Dalcross).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client runs a 7-day operation out of Dalcross, with work ranging from trunking down to the Central Belt through to store deliveries. You'll work any 5 days out of 7, with a choice of day or back shift and a higher rate on backs.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What's on offer?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ongoing position, working any 5 days out of 7</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Day shift: £19.15 to £21.46 per hour (paid weekly)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Back shift: £20.00 to £22.41 per hour (paid weekly)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A mix of trunking and store delivery workAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Trunking to the Central Belt and delivering to storefronts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Unloading cages from the back of the trailer at each drop</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring loads are safe and secure throughout</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Covering Class 2 work when requiredTo be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 6 months</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes</p>
