Warehouse Forklift Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:30am–5:00pm | Friday, 8:30am–2:45pm</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client has been successfully operating for over 30 years and is now looking for a proactive and reliable Warehouse Operative to become an integral part of their team in Flitwick.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a varied, hands-on position, so we're looking for somebody who enjoys getting involved in all areas of warehouse operations. The successful applicant won't only be working on a forklift all day – they'll be working alongside their colleagues to make sure everything runs smoothly.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you'll be doing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating a counterbalance forklift truck</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading lorries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking and packing orders accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Scanning and processing items</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Moving stock around the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manual handling and heavy lifting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting with general warehouse duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working flexibly across the operation depending on the priorities of the day</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Helping your colleagues and contributing to the wider success of the warehouse team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Happy carrying out a variety of warehouse duties rather than spending the entire day operating a truck</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll normally work 8:30am–5:00pm Monday to Thursday, with an earlier finish of 2:45pm on Fridays.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">During the company's busier spring and summer months, there may be occasions when you're required to start earlier. However, these additional hours will be banked and can be taken back as additional leave later in the year, giving you some extra time off during quieter periods.</p>
