<p class="text-muted mb-3">About The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced LGV Driver to join our branch operations team in Nottingham. In this role, you'll safely deliver, collect and transport pump equipment between our depots and customer sites, while providing excellent customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">It's essential that you have your Class 2 licence, and your HIAB/ALLMI qualification.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To enable you to complete all tasks, you will need a good level of fitness, so you are able to safely load and unload your vehicle,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">this is a requirement at both customer sites and Selwood branches.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To carry out this role effectively good communication skills are essential, as you will need to communicate with the hire desk, other colleagues, and our customers to ensure the task at hand is completed to a high standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As part of the role,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be involved in a call out rota.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">If you are self-motivated, with a strong work ethic to get the job right first time, ensuring health and safety standards are adhered in everything you do, this is the job for you.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Base salary of £38,515, with potential earning up to £60,617. Potential earnings include additional pay such as overtime, call-out payments and other applicable allowances and are to the best of our knowledge based on real world conditions. However, this may vary for individuals depending on the local availability of overtime and personal commitment to working additional hours. Our managers would be happy to explain how overtime and call-outs work during the interview process and address any questions you may have.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Carry out work in compliance with Department of Transport Regulations and The Highway Code, having regard for personal safety, the safety of the workforce and the general public.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Fully understand and be compliant with the digital Tachograph operation and drivers’ hours’ legislation.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Maintain an understanding of, and full compliance with the Working Time Directive for mobile workers. Observing all statutory break periods defined under the WTD for mobile workers. Driver’s hours rules must also be observed and take priority over WTD rules.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Ensure all loading and unloading activity is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. All loads are to be positioned and secured safely and correctly to avoid overloading any of the axles and to avoid any possibility of the load moving during transit. This could include manual handling of hoses.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Liaise with your Manager and the garage to help schedule 6-weekly vehicle safety inspections.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Carry out daily maintenance and defect checks of the vehicle.</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Digital Tachograph Driver Card</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Driver Qualification card and/or Periodic CPC Certification</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Experience of working in similar industry (i.e. plant, construction, hire)</span></li>
