<p class="text-muted mb-3">I am currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of my client, an award-winning international designer and manufacturer of premium surfaces for the commercial and residential interiors sector.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following significant expansion and the relocation of its Head Office and Distribution Centre to Lutterworth, Leicestershire, my client is growing its warehouse team and is looking for reliable, experienced Warehouse Operatives to join its new distribution operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of the warehouse and distribution team,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, movement, picking and preparation of stock for customer orders.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The products</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will be handling include large and heavy premium surface materials, so safety, attention to detail and care when moving stock are particularly important.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will regularly operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment, so previous forklift experience is essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full training on specific products, equipment and operating procedures will be provided.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Carrying out routine equipment checks and reporting defects</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Following all company health and safety procedures</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Working closely with Warehouse Team Leaders, drivers and other colleagues to ensure orders are completed on time</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Supporting the wider warehouse operation during busy periods</span></li>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience handling large, heavy and/or fragile products would be highly desirable, particularly within industries such as construction materials, builders’ merchants, stone, timber, glass or similar environments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working Environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a hands-on role within a busy warehouse and distribution environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The position involves regular use of forklift trucks, lifting equipment and warehouse machinery, alongside some manual handling in accordance with safe working practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Appropriate PPE will be provided and must be worn as required.</p>
