Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver - Training:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Our client in Ryton-on-Dunsmore is opening a driving school for new and inexperienced Class 1 drivers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Candidates will complete 2 to 3 days of driver training followed by a final assessment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Upon successful completion of the assessment, candidates will move into ongoing work with our client</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Please note: all training days are unpaid</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver - Rates of Pay: Standard Rate (Weeks 1-12):</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days (04:00 - 22:00): £20.21 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE only)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Nights (22:00 - 04:00): £20.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE only)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Days: £20.50 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE only)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Nights: £21.05 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay, PAYE only)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overtime: 1.5x for your 6th consecutive shift</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver - Shifts and Hours:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shifts available 7 days a week</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night start windows: 22:00 - 02:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Afternoon start windows: 12:00 - 14:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shifts run between 8 and 12 hours per day</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Class 1 Driver - The Role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load, unload, and secure freight safely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete scheduled deliveries and collections across varied parcel weights</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure accurate completion of all delivery documentation * Perform daily vehicle checks and report any defects immediately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work efficiently to meet timed delivery schedules</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliveries may include alcohol products</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Open to newly qualified and inexperienced drivers (on-site training provided)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum age of 21 for insurance purposes</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maximum of 6 penalty points (SP endorsements only; no other endorsement types accepted)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must provide a full 2-year work or education history</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Calm under pressure, flexible, with strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail</p>
