We are seeking a proactive and energetic Warehouse Operative to join a dynamic team in Burton (DE14 2WA), transport will be provided from the West Bromwich area (B71) and this includes transport to and from site following your shift.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials efficiently, including picking, packing, stocking, loading, and unloading items to meet daily operational demands

• Using hand scanners for item picking

• Manage shipping and receiving processes by accurately processing inbound and outbound shipments

• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory, update stock levels, and ensure data accuracy

• Conduct quality control checks to verify product integrity and adherence to standards

• Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while following proper manual handling procedures

• Support stock replenishment activities by organizing products on shelves and maintaining tidy storage areas

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment or similar setting with familiarity in materials handling

• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory tracking tools

• Ability to load, unload, and move heavy items safely using mechanical equipment or manual techniques

• Strong attention to detail for picking, packing, and quality control tasks

• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
