<p class="text-muted mb-3">Overview</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A practical Class 2 driving role delivering to pubs, bars and customers, combining safe, compliant driving with delivery work.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a customer-facing position suited to drivers who take pride in doing the job properly, working as part of a team, and delivering a reliable service day in, day out.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Main Duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic defect reporting to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Deliver drinks to pubs, bars, and customers safely and on time, following the planned route.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Load and unload stock using appropriate equipment (e.g. sack barrows) with manual handling involved.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Ensure all loads are secured correctly using appropriate load restraints to prevent movement of stock and equipment in transit.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Check deliveries against paperwork and ensure accuracy at the point of drop.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Collect empties (kegs, cases, gas bottles) and return them safely to the site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Keep customers informed of any delivery issues, shortages, or delays.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Complete delivery paperwork and/or handheld device tasks as required and collect payments when required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Maintain customer confidence by keeping information strictly confidential regarding premises security and operational information.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Work safely at all times, following company and site health & safety procedures.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Comply with driver hours, Working Time Directive Regulations, and tachograph</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Support the warehouse team when needed (e.g. loading vehicles, sorting returns, etc.).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Have good presentation in the correct LWC Drinks uniform at all times.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge and Experience:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph rules, and working time regulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Good understanding of safe loading practices, including the use of load restraint systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Reliable and able to work as part of a team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Good communication skills and a professional attitude with customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Good safety practices and driving habits.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">• Possess the correct driving licence required for the vehicle.</p>
