<p class="text-muted mb-3">Freight forwarding experience is preferred, but strong candidates from transport planning, haulage operations, European transport coordination, shipping or distribution planning are also encouraged to apply.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll organise freight movements across the UK and Europe, balancing customer</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements, transport costs and service quality.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Your responsibilities will include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Planning and coordinating freight movements from booking through to delivery</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers and suppliers, providing clear instructions and updates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Negotiating rates to secure cost-effective transport solutions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Processing customer orders accurately through the operating system</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing customs documentation for shipments moving to and from Europe</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Resolving transport issues and responding to changing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for someone with a strong background in coordinating transport or freight movements, excellent communication skills and the confidence to make decisions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Relevant experience could include:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Freight forwarding operations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport planning or traffic office coordination</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Haulage operations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">European road transport</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shipping or import/export coordination</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Distribution planning or supply chain roles involving transport management</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You'll also bring strong organisation, attention to detail, commercial awareness and a positive approach to customer service. Experience negotiating with customers or transport providers would be particularly valuable.</p>
