<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Westray Recruitment is looking for dependable and flexible Shunter Drivers to support a busy, fast-paced operation in the Teesside area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for safely moving and positioning vehicles and trailers around the site, ensuring operations continue smoothly and efficiently. As the site operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we are looking for candidates who can work a mixture of day shifts, night shifts and weekends.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role offers excellent earning potential for candidates who are willing to remain flexible and take on additional shifts when available.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely moving and positioning vehicles and trailers around the site</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carrying out vehicle checks before use</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Following all site procedures and health and safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicating effectively with supervisors and other operational teams</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensuring vehicles and trailers are positioned correctly and securely</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reporting any defects, damage or safety concerns immediately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Supporting the wider operation when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach at all times</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Person</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The successful candidate must:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hold a full, clean UK driving licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be available for both day and night shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be willing to work weekends</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be flexible and available across a seven-day operation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be comfortable working mainly 12-hour shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Have a reliable, punctual and responsible attitude</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be able to follow instructions and work safely in a busy environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be comfortable working independently and as part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous shunting or commercial driving experience would be advantageous, but candidates with the right attitude, flexibility and driving ability are encouraged to apply.</p>
