Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for HGV Class 1 TRUNKING Drivers on behalf of our established client based in Witney, OX29!</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Class 1 Driver Days- £19.00-21.00 per hour.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HGV Class 1 Driver Nights- £20.00-22.00 per hour.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Higher pay rate is achieved after 20 completed shifts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">All pay is PAYE, and holiday is accrued on the side!</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Day rate- (06:00-20:00)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night rate- (20:00-06:00)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">About the Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is an opportunity to work with a well establish client, with depots across the UK. Your role would be operating Class 1 Curtainsider vehicles, delivering on TRUNKING routes, with approximately 1-4 drops a day.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">There is no manual handling/lifting- your duties will involve making sure loads are secure and operating the curtains.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Start times vary between 05:00 to 06:00 for day shifts, and 20:00 for Night shifts, Monday to Friday only!</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">UK HGV C+E (Class 1) Drivers License held for a minimum of 1+ years.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Reliability and a positive work ethic.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to deliver safely and in a timely manner.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Induction/Assessment is required prior to first assignment, and is payable after 3 complete shifts.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">About the Candidate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The ideal HGV C+E Driver needs to be flexible around days and start times and have an in-depth knowledge of the WTD and Driver Regulations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Whereas the work is relatively simple, the ideal HGV Driver would be willing to go above and beyond to help in any capacity. Drivers need to always be presentable and approachable when representing the company!</p>
