Supply Chain Planning Specialist

This role will support production planning, procurement and material supply activities, ensuring components are available in line with project and customer</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan production and material supply activities to support agreed build and consumption dates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Communicate demand plans clearly to suppliers, production teams and project stakeholders</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate ERP data, including supplier commitment dates, lead times, minimum order quantities and Bills of Materials</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Create and maintain clear-to-build reports, highlighting constraints, risks and required actions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify, manage and resolve material supply issues in a timely manner</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide inputs into S&OP and MRP processes and manage resulting actions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and the Shipping and Logistics Controller</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor supplier performance KPIs and support supplier and process improvement initiatives</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience in procurement, buying, supply chain planning or supply chain analysis within a manufacturing environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of supply chain control, material</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements planning and production planning</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience creating and controlling Bills of Materials</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Practical experience using an ERP system and maintaining accurate supply chain data</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent organisational skills with a flexible and solutions-focused approach</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good commercial awareness and supplier relationship management skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HNC, HND, degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant business, procurement or supply chain discipline</p>
