<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are currently looking for an experienced Highways / Construction Operative with an HGV Class 2 licence to join our busy Highways Division based in Sandford.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working as part of a 2–3 person team, you will carry out a range of highways maintenance and construction works across the local area.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Kerbing and general highways works</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hot and cold lay patching</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Erecting and dismantling fencing</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Erecting, removing and maintaining road signage</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">General highways maintenance and construction duties</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driving and operating HGV Class 2 vehicles as required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working safely and effectively as part of a small team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Participating in the Winter Maintenance On-Call Team during the winter season</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Requirements</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence – essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">NRSWA qualification – essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in highways, construction or road maintenance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good understanding of health and safety</p>
