<p class="text-muted mb-3">Role Summary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Transport SAP Controller will be responsible for updating and maintaining the SAP/DAS system to ensure the efficient flow of yard management operations for inbound deliveries. This role requires close coordination with operational teams to provide accurate and timely information in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Update SAP with amendments, including delays, cancellations, and special deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage Trailer Units (TUs) by creating IDs, assigning appointments, and uploading additional TUs as required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor and coordinate deliveries for direct and indirect operations.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with relevant departments regarding delivery issues and escalate operational inconsistencies where necessary.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Identify and report operational problems and delays, escalating complex issues to senior management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Resolve delivery issues, track delayed vehicles, and support service performance improvements.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure timely tracking of delayed vehicles entering the site.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain inbound service levels and operational standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adhere to company policies and legislation relating to health, safety, environment, and risk management.Essential Skills & Experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience using SAP is essential.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent analytical, numerical, and organisational skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Commercial awareness and attention to detail.Desirable</p>
