<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for an experienced Export Coordinator to join a busy freight forwarding operation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be responsible for coordinating export shipments from initial booking through to final departure, ensuring freight is processed accurately, efficiently and in line with customer</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements. You will work closely with customers, airlines, handling agents, overseas offices and transport providers to keep shipments moving and resolve any issues along the way.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple shipments and deadlines.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key Responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage export shipments from booking through to departure.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Arrange bookings with airlines and negotiate appropriate routing and schedules.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and process export documentation and shipping instructions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with customers to obtain all necessary shipment information and documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Coordinate collections and deliveries with hauliers and transport providers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Work closely with airlines, handling agents and overseas partners.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor shipments and provide customers with regular updates.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all customs</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and check Air Waybills and other relevant shipping documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Track flight schedules and proactively manage delays, amendments and operational issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Obtain and review freight rates where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure shipments are correctly invoiced and files are completed accurately.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain accurate records and update internal systems throughout the shipment lifecycle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Resolve customer and operational queries quickly and professionally.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure all shipments are handled in accordance with company procedures and service standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experienced in ocean and/or air freight forwarding for a UK based freight forwarder.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledgeable of air/ocean export procedures and documentation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident communicating with customers, airlines, agents and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable working to tight deadlines.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A strong problem solver with a proactive approach.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Commercially aware and confident dealing with rates and suppliers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">IT literate and comfortable using freight forwarding systems.</p>
