Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driver Hire Southampton is recruiting for a permanent Class 1 Driver to join a specialist operation supplying some of the UK's leading housebuilders and construction companies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is more than a standard Class 1 driving role. You'll be operating bulk powder tankers and silo placement vehicles fitted with specialist lifting equipment.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will be delivering and positioning dry silo systems at construction sites across the UK.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full training will be provided, giving you the skills and knowledge to operate the specialist equipment safely, efficiently and to the required industry standards.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">About this Class 1 driving position:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Permanent position</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work during busy periods</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Typically a 6:00am start</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">40-hour working week, plus overtime</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivering dry silo systems to customer construction sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operating specialist lorry-mounted lifting equipment to position silos</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Refilling silos using advanced powder tanker technology</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working directly with customers, so professionalism and good communication are importantAs a Class 1 Driver, we require from you:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi Tacho card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good customer service and timekeeping skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experienced and newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential</p>
