Freight Coordinator

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are working with a well-established and growing business to recruit a (Freight & Logistics Coordinator) Key Account Coordinator to join their busy commercial team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, building strong relationships and keeping things moving. The business is open to considering candidates with previous sea freight forwarding/import-export experience, but equally, they are happy to train and develop the right person who has the right attitude, customer service skills and commercial mindset.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Working closely with customers, suppliers, agents and internal teams,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive an excellent level of service from enquiry through to delivery. You will need to be organised, proactive and confident communicating with a range of people, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Managing customer queries via telephone and email</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitoring and managing a shared inbox</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Processing customer bookings and accurately inputting information into internal systems</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaising with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and overseas agents</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Preparing, checking and sending customer documentation</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Producing bills of lading and providing bill of lading instructions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding customer</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware and genuinely passionate about providing excellent customer service.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You may already have experience within freight forwarding, import/export, logistics or a similar commercial environment, or you may be working in a customer-focused role and looking for an opportunity to develop your career within the industry.</p>
