Warehouse Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Barker Ross are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy logistics operation based in Banbury, OX16.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We are looking for reliable and hardworking people who are comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment. Previous warehouse experience is useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity if you are looking for ongoing work where you can develop your warehouse experience and gain MHE training.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Shift Pattern</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">You will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Days: 06:00 to 18:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Nights: 18:00 to 06:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Pay Rates</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Day Shift:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· £13.44 to £13.94 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Night Shift:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· £14.44 to £14.94 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What will you be doing?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Picking customer orders accurately</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Using handheld scanners and Radio Data Terminals</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Building and wrapping pallets ready for dispatch</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Loading and unloading deliveries</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Checking incoming stock for quantity and quality</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Moving and putting away stock within the warehouse</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Replenishing picking locations</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Using the Warehouse Management System</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Keeping your working area clean and safe</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Supporting the wider warehouse team when required</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">MHE Training and Development</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Everyone who successfully completes the induction day will receive PPT training, so you do not need to already hold a PPT licence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Once trained and confident on PPT, there will also be opportunities to progress onto additional MHE training, including Reach Truck and VNA.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to develop their warehouse experience and gain additional MHE skills.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What Happens at the Induction?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As part of your first day and site induction, all candidates will complete:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Drug and alcohol test</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· English assessment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Maths assessment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Site induction and safety training</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Please make sure you are comfortable completing these assessments before applying.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What Are We Looking For?</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Reliable and punctual</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Comfortable working 12 hour shifts</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Able to work a 4 on 4 off rota</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Happy working in a busy warehouse environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Comfortable working as part of a team</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Able to work accurately and follow instructions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">· Willing to learn and undertake MHE training</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential. Experience using pallet trucks, PPT, Reach Truck, VNA or other warehouse equipment would be an advantage.</p>
