Warehouse Operative

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Flitwick</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00AM - 17:30PM, Fridays 14:45PM</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: £26,0000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. </p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Must Drive due to location</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">OA are currently working with a well established, family owned client based in Flitwick, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Warehouse Operative with a valid Reach Truck licence, to join the team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Duties of a Warehouse Operative:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Occasional admin/office based responsibilities.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operate within tightknit team of operatives and liaise with other departments.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to move between departments production/bulk/Ecommerce.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we would like from you:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience within a Warehouse environment</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">MUST have a Reach Truck Licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Counterbalance, PPT, VNA is preferred also</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent communication skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to do heaving lifting and loading</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Flexible with working hours and overtime</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">WMS experience essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Organised, pro-active & positive attitude.</p>
