Job Description & Overview

We are recruiting reliable 3.5 tonne delivery drivers to carry out parcel deliveries and collections for an established delivery company. This is an active role suited to someone who enjoys driving, working independently and providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver and collect parcels from residential and business addresses.
  • Load your vehicle and organise parcels into delivery order.
  • Follow planned routes and manage your time to complete deliveries.
  • Use a handheld scanner to record deliveries, collections and proof of delivery.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults.
  • Handle parcels carefully and follow safe manual handling procedures.
  • Communicate any delays or delivery issues to the transport team.
  • Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers.
Requirements
  • A valid UK driving licence allowing you to drive a 3.5 tonne van.
  • Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
  • Confidence using handheld scanners and navigation systems.
  • Good communication, organisation and timekeeping skills.
  • Ability to carry out regular lifting and loading safely.
  • A reliable approach and commitment to safe driving.
