7.5T Delivery and Install Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Berry Recruitment are looking for a 7.5T Delivery and Install Driver for a well established client based in the Belfast area.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">About the role:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To safely deliver, install and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions and Cookers in our customers property</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Engaging with customers, keeping them informed and ensuring their delivery and our installation is carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To maintain regular contact with your site throughout the day to meet any changes to a customer delivery request, discussing and escalating unplanned issues, seeking guidance and adapting as necessary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To ensure the handheld operating device (Savvy) is always used correctly by completing visits and obtaining customer signatures</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To liaise with Manufacturers at the point of delivery when necessary</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To handle all products safely and with care, supporting your colleagues to do the same</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Able to meet the physical</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To ensure you follow continuous professional development, maintaining your driving license and ensuring required training and knowledge is kept up to date</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day. Regularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (i.e., straps and sack barrows)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To ensure full compliance with all transport legislation and law.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To work compliantly, following driving regulations, site specific</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">requirements, company and health and safety policies, to keep our Customers and Colleagues safe</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To always drive safely, showing respect and courtesy to other road users</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To represent the external face of our client, acting as a brand ambassador by role modelling our values and demonstrating our customer's first behaviours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from our retail stores.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Skills/Experience:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A passion for delivering excellent customer service</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong verbal communication, both on the phone and face-to-face in our customers' home</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure we win together</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">To utilise equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery e.g., following manual handling and Health and Safety training</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Takes responsibility for own learning and help us become the home for the best talent</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or meet criteria to train toward license (e.g., 6 months experience of driving a 3.5T vehicle with no driver blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 new points)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ability to use initiative to problem solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfied</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Qualifications:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">A Full UK/EU C1 driving license (with a maximum of 6 penalty point), or meet criteria to work towards license</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drivers Certificate of Professional Competence Qualification (DCPC)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Driver Qualification Card (DQC) - Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Digital Tachograph card</p>
