7.5T Delivery Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">This role involves regular manual handling, including loading and unloading heavy and bulky items, so a good level of physical fitness is essential Assisted by Drivers mate</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">4days on 4days off 07:00-19:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">£19.47 per hour inclusive of holiday pay</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Safely operate a 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle in accordance with UK road traffic laws and company policies.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled safely and securely.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Carry heavy and bulky items, including lifting, moving, and delivering products to customer premises where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide a professional, friendly, and courteous service to customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Maintain the cleanliness, security, and condition of the vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Follow all company health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure goods are secured correctly during transportation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Full UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle (Category C1).</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC qualification, where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card, where required.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Clean or acceptable driving record.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good knowledge of UK road safety regulations and drivers' hours</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne or other HGV/Class 2 vehicle.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous experience as a multi-drop or delivery driver.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using handheld delivery devices or route-planning systems.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of manual handling best practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Good knowledge of local and UK-wide road networks.Physical Requirements</h5>
