Job Title: 7.5T / LGVC1 Vehicle Recovery Driver

Status: Permanent with immediate interview and starts

Location: Chessington

Pay Rate:£15 per hour

Truck: Can take truck home whilst on shift so minimal travel to work costs

Training: Recovery vehicle training provided - so no previous experience is required.

Overview: F1 Personnel is an agency working with this well-established and highly respected local company providing Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Recovery and Repair services based in Chessington.

Why This Role?:

• Helping people in a time of need by attending broken down vehicles by the roadside.
• Providing basic repairs just as wheel changes and jump starts OR Transporting vehicles that can't be repaired to the depot, local garage or customer's home address

Pay & Benefits:

• Basic Pay: £15 per hour
• Overtime: Available
• Bonuses & Incentives: Vehicle workshop bonus
• OTE Pay per Year: £43,000

Shifts: 6 on / 3 off, rotating on a 4-week roster:

• Week 1: 06:0018:00
• Week 2: 08:0020:00
• Week 3: 10:0022:00
• Week 4: 18:0006:00

Average Hours per Week: 55-60 hours

Note: the shifts are 12-hours per day so candidates must be prepared to work these.

Will include weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of the roster.

Skills & Experience: All candidates must have the following:

Driving Requirements:

• Minimum 7.5T (LGV C1)
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements, no DD, DR, IN, CD
• Hold current Drivers Qualification Card (DCPC) & Tacho Card

Personal Attributes:

• Previous 7.5T driving experience
• Reliable, flexible, and customer-focused
• Able to work on own initiative and in all weathers
• Professional and safe driving record

Vetting: Checks will include:

• Identity and Right to Work
• DBS Criminal Records
• Referencing for 2-years
