Accounts Payable Specialist

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liberty Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation in the search for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join their Finance team.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Based in Gosport, you can expect a salary of circa £32,000, some great benefits and the opportunity to work within a collaborative Finance team. You will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of Accounts Payable while also having the opportunity to get involved in systems, projects and process improvements.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Key responsibilities</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and efficiently</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Ensure expenditure is correctly coded and allocated across the business</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare weekly and monthly supplier payment runs and issue remittance advice</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Manage supplier queries and maintain positive relationships with external suppliers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Process employee expenses and company credit card transactions</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Complete daily bank postings and reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Prepare and post journals including accruals and prepayments</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support month-end and year-end reporting activities</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Review aged creditor balances and resolve outstanding items</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide supporting documentation and information for internal and external audits</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Support Finance projects, system developments and process improvement initiatives</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">About you</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">AAT qualified/part-qualified or extensive experience within a similar Accounts Payable role</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or another ERP/accounting system</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Good Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse and reconcile financial information</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong written and verbal communication skills</p>
