Are you a commercially driven General Manager with a proven ability to grow revenue, lead high-performing teams, and build lasting customer relationships within a wholesale or distribution environment?

We're looking for an exceptional leader to take ownership of a dynamic B2B distribution operation, driving both commercial growth and operational excellence. This is not a 3PL business. Success in this role comes from understanding customers, identifying opportunities, and creating long-term value through strategic account development and outstanding service delivery.

You will know exactly who your ideal customer profile is and have a track record of winning, developing and retaining key accounts. You can demonstrate a healthy sales pipeline, a clear commercial strategy, and the ability to translate customer needs into profitable growth.

We are particularly interested in leaders from wholesale, distribution, industrial supplies, foodservice, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing supply chains, or related sectors. Perhaps you've worked with organisations such as Arco, RS Components, major foodservice operators, pharmaceutical distributors, or other high-volume B2B customer bases.

Position Overview

The General Manager - ( Warrington, Blackburn, Huddersfield or Manchester ) in this Distribution environment will lead sales, warehouse, transport, strategy, and execution within this formidable employer who provide services to a in or around Warrington, Blackburn, Huddersfield or Manchester

Your responsibilities will span across managing sales, P&L, procurement, warehouse management, and transport management.

You will be instrumental in developing and implementing sales strategies, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and driving growth objectives. Collaboration with various departments will be key to ensuring seamless distribution operations and top-notch customer satisfaction.
