Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Bedfordshire, covering Southern England

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 Basic + Commission Scheme + Company Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Manager to join a well-established and growing rental organisation.

This is a forward-thinking business that is entering an exciting period of expansion, having recently opened a brand-new facility in Bedfordshire. As part of this continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Sales Manager to play a key role in driving rental sales, revenue and customer growth across the Bedfordshire depot and wider Southern operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional to join a growing business at an exciting stage of its development, with the opportunity to make a real impact on the continued success of the region.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Achieving agreed hire sales targets within the assigned territory

Supporting sales opportunities within the company CRM system

Identifying new business opportunities

Visiting prospective customers to build relationships

Managing an existing customer base by visiting sites and keeping relationships alive

Raising quotes for new hire jobs, managing the process to conversion

Liaising with the rest of the team to ensure our customer service is exceptional

Driving new business relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering sales for the hire fleet.

Requirements of Role

Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or a Commercial role

Knowledge of the Crane Hire, Plant Hire, Powered Access, or Construction Equipment industry is essential

Be willing to travel & hold a current Driving Licence
