Assistant Accountant

A well-established organisation based in Totton, Hampshire is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

Assisting with purchase ledger invoice processing and coding checks

Supporting month-end tasks, including accruals, journals, prepayments, and fixed assets

Conducting reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts

Helping prepare management accounts and financial reports

Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties and contributing to the smooth running of the finance department

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

Proficient in Excel

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
