Factory Labourer

We are currently seeking a Factory Labourer to work within a busy manufacturing facility in Birtley.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting the manufacturing team with material preparation

Accurately measuring materials in readiness for production

Manual handling and movement of raw materials (including the use of FLT training provided)

Following detailed instructions for various product types

Meeting daily production targets

Requirements

Physically fit – manual lifting is a key part of the role

Good numerical skills – confident working with measurements

Willingness to work across all three shifts

Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

Shift Pattern:

Day Shift: Monday to Saturday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am

You will work one Saturday every three weeks due to the rotating shift pattern.
