Teach Tiny is looking for a fantastic Chef to join a lovely Nursery / Pre-School setting in Luton.

This is your chance to take your culinary skills into a fun, friendly and rewarding early years environment, preparing nutritious meals and snacks for little ones and helping them discover a love of good food.

And don't worry - you won't be expected to make tiny soufflés! 😉

As the Nursery Chef, you'll be responsible for creating fresh, nutritious and delicious meals that are suitable for young children.

Your day could include:

🍲 Preparing healthy, balanced meals and snacks

🥦 Creating varied menus packed with nutritious ingredients

🍓 Introducing children to new foods, flavours and textures

🚨 Catering carefully for allergies and dietary

requirements

🧼 Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and hygienic

📦 Managing food stock and helping to minimise waste

🤝 Working closely with the nursery team to support children's nutritional needs

😊 Making mealtimes a positive and enjoyable part of the children's day

👩‍🍳 Are you the Chef we're looking for?

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in professional cooking or catering
• Qualified to at least Level 2 in Food Hygiene – essential
• Passionate about preparing fresh, nutritious food
• Knowledgeable about food hygiene and safe food preparation
• Confident catering for allergies and dietary

requirements

• Organised, reliable and able to manage their own kitchen
• Friendly, patient and approachable
• Comfortable working as part of a wider nursery team

Previous experience working with children, in a nursery, school or other education setting would be preferable, but isn't essential.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their cooking and understands that good food can play a big part in happy, healthy childhoods. 💛
