Job Description & Overview
Founder’s Associate, Growth & Operations
London, England, United Kingdom
This fast-moving climate tech startup is building core infrastructure for the next-generation energy system. Their software coordinates large fleets of distributed energy assets, from EV chargers to heating systems to home storage, shifting demand to the cleanest, cheapest hours on the grid.
The Role
This is a broad, high-ownership role suited to someone who learns fast, thrives in ambiguity, and enjoys blending technical depth with operational problem-solving. You’ll work across markets, customers, and new growth opportunities – helping shape both strategy and execution.
What You’ll Work On
- Exploring and launching new markets – from research and analysis through to go-to-market planning
- Helping new and existing customers extract maximum value from the platform
- Identifying and driving growth opportunities across new verticals and customer segments
- Tackling complex, technical challenges that require rapid learning and decisive execution
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to absorb and make sense of highly technical information quickly
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data
- Bias for action, resilience, and a "break through barriers" mentality
- Genuine motivation to make measurable climate impact
Why This Role Matters
- Massive ownership from day one
- A mix of operational and strategic challenges with real commercial and environmental value
- Meaningful equity and competitive compensation
- A mission-driven, collaborative team shaping the future of the energy system
- Regular team retreats and a hybrid setup in a dog-friendly Old Street office
They’re actively looking to build a diverse team and strongly encourage applications from people who may not fit a traditional profile. If the mission resonates, you should reach out – even if you don’t tick every box.
