The Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting market research to identify and evaluate global suppliers.
Negotiating contracts and pricing to secure cost-effective, high-quality goods and services.
Driving cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability goals.
Managing sourcing projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources.
Collaborating with finance, operations, and product development teams to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives.
Identifying and mitigating risks to ensure a resilient supply chain.

Key Requirements

Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of global sourcing practices, trade regulations, and compliance requirements.
ERP/MRP proficiency and strong analytical skills.
A keen interest in sustainability and ethical sourcing.

A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly advantageous.
