A specialist engineering consultancy is looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its growing team in Oxford, working on a range of geotechnical and foundation engineering projects.

This is a great opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate looking to build their technical experience within a specialist environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and gain exposure to investigation, monitoring and foundation-related projects.

The role will involve:

Supporting geotechnical and foundation engineering projects

Assisting with site investigations and ground monitoring

Collecting and interpreting site data

Supporting the installation and monitoring of instrumentation

Assisting with foundation assessments and geotechnical analysis

Preparing technical reports and project documentation

Working with engineers and project teams to deliver projects

Visiting sites across the UK as required

Developing your technical knowledge through on-the-job trainingThe ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering subject

An interest in geotechnical engineering and foundations

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A willingness to travel to site when required

A proactive approach and genuine interest in developing a career in geotechnical engineeringPrevious industry experience is not essential, although any university projects, placements or experience relating to geotechnics, foundations, structural monitoring or site investigation would be beneficial
