Property Manager – Chelmsford, Essex

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum (including bonus)

About the Role

LCA Recruitment is looking for an experienced Property Manager to join a well-established and successful property business in Chelmsford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, building relationships with landlords and tenants, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring maintenance, compliance and tenancy matters are handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties.
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs with contractors.
• Arrange property inspections and follow up on any issues.
• Ensure properties comply with relevant legislation and safety

requirements.

• Handle tenant enquiries, complaints and maintenance requests.
• Manage tenancy renewals and associated administration.
• Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in residential property management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Good understanding of residential lettings legislation.
• Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively.
• Confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Strong attention to detail and good IT skills.

Salary and Benefits

• £26,000–£28,000 per annum, including bonus.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Approximately one Saturday in six, working remotely, with time off in lieu where applicable.
