Looking to manage accounts that assist in bringing life-changing treatments to the world? Join our client at the forefront of pharmaceutical innovation and make a difference!

Proclinical is supporting an established pharmaceutical company with the appointment of a Key Account Manager within its Neuroscience business, covering London. This is a commercially focused role working across key NHS accounts, with responsibility for driving growth while helping customers improve patient pathways, service capacity and access to treatment. The position goes beyond a traditional territory sales role, with a strong emphasis on strategic account development, stakeholder influence and implementing tailored solutions within complex NHS environments. You will develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and wider NHS stakeholders, identifying opportunities within individual accounts and bringing together internal and external teams to support change. This will include developing new users, expanding appropriate patient access and ensuring a differentiated value proposition is delivered at account level.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across high-value London NHS accounts
  • Identify opportunities to improve patient pathways, service delivery and capacity
  • Build strong relationships with HCPs and develop clinical advocates
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical, Marketing, Market Access and other internal stakeholders
  • Use account insights and business analytics to prioritise opportunities and drive growth
  • Deliver tailored customer solutions through both face-to-face and digital engagement
  • Develop a strong understanding of the therapy area, product and local NHS environment
  • Work compliantly within the ABPI Code of Practice

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Demonstrate strong key account management, stakeholder engagement and solution-based selling skills.
  • Previous neuroscience experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • A track record of working effectively within the NHS, influencing multiple stakeholders and successfully implementing change within healthcare organisations is most important.
  • Commercially driven, proactive and comfortable working autonomously while operating effectively within a wider matrix team.
  • Strong planning, project management and communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex customer needs and translate them into practical account strategies.
