Vehicle Technician/Mechanic – (Mainly Ford LCV's)

WE'RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MECHANIC

£45,000 – £50,000 depending on experience

GT Vans is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team near Bath / Bristol.

We specialise in Ford commercial vehicles, particularly Transit & Transit Custom vans, so

this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vans and wants a busy, varied workshop role.

• £45,000 – £50,000
• Monday – Friday
• NO WEEKENDS
• 42.5 hours per week + Overtime double pay offer (not mandatory)
• Predominantly Ford commercial vehicles
• Busy, varied workshop environment

The role includes:

• Servicing & maintenance
• Ford 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements
• Timing belts
• Clutches & flywheels
• Brakes, suspension & steering
• Mechanical & electrical diagnostics
• General repairs & fault finding
• MOT preparation & rectification
• Pre-sale vehicle inspections

We're looking for someone who:

✅ Has solid professional workshop experience

✅ Can work independently

✅ Has strong diagnostic & mechanical ability

✅ Has experience with Ford Transit / Transit Custom

✅ Can confidently carry out 2.0 EcoBlue wet belt replacements

✅ Takes pride in their workmanship
