Finance Assistant

Our client, a large household name business in South Nottingham, are recruiting for someone to come in to complete a finance project for a temporary period initially. They offer hybrid working (2 days per week home working) and great working conditions.

This role is with a company in the retail industry, located in Nottingham.

Description

Assisting with project based work in the finance department

Using SAP

Getting involved in a large, deadline based task

Supporting the team with reviewing financial information, checking data and maintaining accurate records

Supporting the team with reconciliations and reporting activities where required

Ensuring information is collated and processed within agreed deadlines

Providing ad hoc assistance to the finance departmentProfile

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

Experience in accounting or finance-related tasks within a professional setting.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Proficiency with financial software and tools, such as Excel and ideally SAP.

An understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Good communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.Job Offer

An equivalent annual salary of around £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
