Overview

Parkside School is seeking an experienced and technically strong Head of Finance to join our team in Cobham, Surrey. Reporting to the Bursar, this is a senior and influential role with responsibility for leading the School's finance function and providing high-quality financial insight, advice, and constructive challenge to senior leaders and Governors.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Management and statutory accounts
• Cash flow, audit and compliance
• Payroll and pensions
• Fee billing and credit control
• Procurement, risk management
• Development of financial systems and processes

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Significant senior-level finance experience
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly
• Commercial awareness and forward-thinking
• Motivated by process improvement and efficiency
