Business Development Manager

position covering the

York region

. Working

Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

,

you will be rewarded with a

basic salary of £35,000

, with an

OTE on top

, alongside a company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop.

Job Duties Include:

Support the branch team and management in achieving daily sales targets.

Actively promote and sell the company's products of the week and month.

Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers, assisting with both orders and queries.

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.

Communicate with customers both over the telephone and face-to-face, providing excellent levels of customer service.

Attend client meetings to professionally promote the business, products and services.

Identify customer

requirements and potential sales opportunities.

Understand customer and market trends to identify opportunities for further business development.

Work closely with the branch team to ensure customer

requirements are met efficiently.

Represent the business professionally when visiting customers and developing new relationships.

Requirements

Previous experience within a

Business Development Manager

or similar sales-focused position would be advantageous.

Previous experience within the

automotive parts trade

would be highly beneficial.

Knowledge of

Kerridge, P24 and/or MAM Software

would be an additional benefit.

Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft systems.

Strong telephone and face-to-face sales skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Confident when attending client meetings and presenting the business professionally.

Full and clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
