Junior Sales Engineer

Junior Field Sales Engineer Opportunity | South West UK

I’m currently working on a Field Sales Engineer opportunity with a leading technology business, and I’m open to speaking with someone junior or early career who has a strong technical education in Physics, RF, Microwave, Electronics or a related subject.

This is a remote role covering the South West of the UK, working with RF and microwave technologies across sectors including defence, aerospace, telecommunications, satellite communications and advanced electronics.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with new and existing customers across the South West

• Understand customer technical

requirements and recommend suitable RF and microwave solutions

• Support customer meetings, technical discussions and presentations

• Identify and develop new business opportunities

• Prepare quotations and support commercial discussions

• Work closely with engineering teams to develop customer focused solutions

• Manage opportunities through the full sales process

• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity

Experience needed:

• Degree or strong educational background in Physics, RF, Microwave, Electronics or a related subject

• An interest in developing a career within technical sales

• Good understanding of RF, microwave or electronic technologies

• Confident communicating with customers and technical teams

• Commercially minded with a willingness to learn

• Strong relationship building and communication skills

• Self motivated and comfortable working remotely

• Full UK driving licence

Previous technical sales experience would be beneficial, but I’m very open to someone junior who has the right technical education and personality to move into a customer facing sales role.
