We are currently recruiting reliable and professional

HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers

to support busy transport operations in Rugby. The role involves driving HGV Class 1 vehicles with

curtain-sided trailers , completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently while ensuring all work is carried out in line with road safety regulations and customer requirements. We are looking for responsible drivers with a strong work ethic, a professional attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent service. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may be available during the day, at night and over weekends. Key Responsibilities

Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles with curtain-sided trailers to complete deliveries and collections.

Ensuring goods are transported safely and delivered on time.

Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any defects promptly.

Ensuring loads are secure and following safe loading and unloading procedures.

Operating curtain-sided trailers safely and following site-specific loading and unloading requirements.

Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records.

Following UK road transport legislation, drivers' hours regulations and health and safety procedures.

Communicating professionally with customers, site contacts and transport teams.

Reporting delays, incidents or delivery issues promptly.

Maintaining a clean, safe and roadworthy vehicle.

Following all site rules and customer instructions.

Skills and Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.

Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

Valid digital tachograph card.

Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.

Experience with curtain-sided trailers is desirable.

Good knowledge of UK roads and road transport regulations.

A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving.

Good communication skills and the ability to follow delivery instructions.

Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.

Availability to work

day shifts, night shifts and weekends , depending on operational requirements.

Pay and Benefits

£16.25–£21.00 per hour , depending on the shift and assignment.

Paid every Wednesday.

Temporary work in Rugby.
