Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Glasgow, Central Scotland

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k DOE + Training & Benefits

This longstanding Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a BOHS P402 qualified Asbestos Surveyor, in Central Scotland, to cover new and existing contracts on a range of sites.

You will be undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys, collecting samples and producing reports and providing technical advice to clients.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within an established outfit
• Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
• Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Flexible to changing client needs

The Role:

• Producing site-specific technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings
• Safely obtaining asbestos samples from site
• Conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
• Re-inspection surveys
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
• Providing regular updates to clients
• Delivering samples to the lab for analysis
