<p class="text-muted mb-3">What you'll be doing:</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Site Operations & Safety Management - Assist the Facilities Manager in managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring all staff, visitors, and contractors follow site rules and safety requirements while developing a proactive safety culture.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Team Leadership & People Management - Act as line manager for the operational team, providing supervision, direction, and support; ensure employees and contractors are properly trained, inducted, and monitored to maintain required standards.</p>

<h5 class="fw-bold text-success mt-4 mb-3">Waste Processing & Plant Management - Control waste reception, acceptance, processing, and disposal operations; manage maintenance of mobile plant and processing equipment to optimize performance and meet budget requirements.</h5>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Regulatory Compliance & Stakeholder Relations - Ensure compliance with all site authorizations and procedures; manage relationships with regulatory authorities (EA/HSE), local councils, and other stakeholders; facilitate regulatory visits and maintain accurate records.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Operational Administration & Project Delivery - Complete daily site records and data analysis; manage contractors undertaking maintenance and works; deliver business-specific projects; provide customer service and ensure efficient facility operation within delegated authority levels.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we're looking for:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Landfill and/or waste Treatment processing experience in an Operational setting</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge and experience in H&S</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Knowledge of budget and cost control</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding of Operational Plant Maintenance</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Desirable</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Technical Competence (degree or equivalent)</p>
