<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: Up to £65,000 plus bonus, company car/cash allowance, private medical cover and pension</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Location: Primary location - Portsmouth with additional responsibility of Poole depot.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Be responsible for overseeing various aspects of the depot operations, including financial management, business development, strategic planning, and team management.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver effective & safe services to maximum operational efficiency, within budget & to VMR standard.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Lead and mentor a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development and our Veolia values.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure the team's success.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Continuously monitor and evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Drive a culture of Customer Centricity, ensuring all Customer Service and Operational KPIs are maximised.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Develop and manage the site budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources & utilisation of the most efficient disposal and recycling solutions.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Providing clear, transparent & accurate reporting of business performance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Delivering operational efficiencies through use of digital media, asset utilisation and cost control.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Understanding local market conditions, competitors & opportunities for growth.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Nominated Transport Manager 2 with overall responsibility for Fleet management & delivering best in class transport compliance.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Foster relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and regulatory agencies to enhance business operations and market presence.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Effectively deliver and promote succinct business related messages and strategies to future customers.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">What we're looking for;</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Essential:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH is desirable.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Previous commercial waste management experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport CPC.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Financial and budget management experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Fleet management experience.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Strong understanding of waste management regulations, environmental sustainability, and waste disposal procedures is desirable.</p>
