<p class="text-muted mb-3">Salary: £110,000 - £140,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + excellent package + possible share options / equity participation.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to join an innovative food concept producer based from a single location site in Leicestershire.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The new COO role has arisen to enable the founding CEO to work 'on the business' rather than 'in the day-to-day operations of the business', enabling them to take on a more strategic remit.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">With a turnover of £75 million, having started from scratch 6 years ago,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">our client is now rapidly growing and seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence and support further business growth within the UK and European market.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">As the Chief Operating Officer,</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">you will play a crucial role in streamlining operations, managing and improving production lines, overseeing health, safety, and environmental improvements, and leading a team to ensure the business continues to meet and exceed market demands. The Chief Operating Officer will also take the lead in negotiating supplier and supply chain contracts, as well as keeping customers happy.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Chief Operating Officer role is a new role which has arisen to enable the founding CEO of the business to take on a more strategic role on the Board.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The Chief Operating Officer will take day to day and profit and loss control of the business.</p>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Lead a multifunctional team, implementing flexible labour strategies to optimise productivity and meet strict customer KPIs / SLAs</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Drive business re-engineering strategies to support expansion plans</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Manage inventory holding policies to improve efficiency without increasing working capital</span></li>

<li class="d-flex align-items-start mb-2"><i class="mdi mdi-circle-medium text-success fs-15 me-2 mt-1"></i><span>Work closely with customers to address and resolve any concerns or complaints. A dedication to food quality and excellent service is a must.</span></li>
