Class 1 Driver

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - Trunking& collections - clean work
Location: Crewe
Pay Rate: 21.36 to 32.04 p/h + 250 sign up bonus+ Paid Breaks
Shifts: 5 days per week, shifts will include 1 day at the weekend - ongoing work in to 2027
Experience: 2 years experience driving Class 1 required

The Role
As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Clean Trunking Work between depots and distribution centres
• No Handballing
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 2years' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service

Our client may accept up to 6 penalty points. Unfortunately, applications with DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements cannot be accepted.
