Class 1 Driver

<p class="text-muted mb-3">HOURS: Basic 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, between 06:00-18:00</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">SALARY: £15.52 per hour</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">We're looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver to support our Recycling Operations, predominantly running out of our Ilkeston (Derbyshire) and Selby (Yorkshire) sites.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">The position involves using/operating a Walking floor trailer to complete collections and deliveries across various locations. The role may include overtime or nights out on a regular basis, or occasionally, depending on business needs, to support specific routes or time-sensitive deliveries.</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">WHAT OUR CLASS 1 DRIVERS DO:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Collect and deliver uPVC plastic in various containers</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Transport internal bag loads between Ilkeston, Alfreton, and Selby sites</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Provide holiday and sickness cover for Skip Lorry and Tanker operations (training provided)</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Deliver and collect products professionally, efficiently, and on time</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Liaise with the Transport Manager to ensure schedules and deadlines are met</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Load and unload vehicles safely and effectively</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR CLASS 1 DRIVERS:</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Valid Driver CPC and Cat C+E (Class 1) Licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Tacho Card</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Minimum 1 year's HGV driving experience</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">No more than 3 penalty points on licence</p>

<p class="text-muted mb-3">Comfortable with multi drop and able to accommodate nights out as and when required</p>
