ABOUT THE ROLE

Recruit A Driver is recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night trunking work with a well-established client based in Birstall.

This is a straightforward trunking role between Birstall and Motherwell, ideal for drivers looking for consistent night work. Full-week shifts are available, with a job-share option for drivers seeking two nights per week.

THE ROLE

• Complete trunk runs between Birstall and Motherwell

• Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and professionally

• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks

• Complete required paperwork accurately

• Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

• Maintain good timekeeping and professional driving standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Minimum 18 months' recent Class 1 driving experience

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Maximum 6 penalty points, minor endorsements only

• Good understanding of UK driver hours and transport legislation

• Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
