Class 1 Driver Nights

Grafters Recruit Ltd are looking for LGV Class 1 Lorry Drivers to support our growing team in Magna Park area.

Benefits:

Weekly rotas, regular work Sunday to Saturday

Ad hoc weekend work available

Start times windows: 18:30-23:30; 00:15-04:00; 06:30-15:30

Minimum 8 hours paid

Free on-site parking

Rates:

Monday to Friday - £17.29 p/h

Saturday - £20.20 p/h

Sunday 21.84 p/h

Available shifts:

Tue Sat 21:00 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

1 x 4 on - 4 off 21:00 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

1 x 4 on 4 off 22:00 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

Wed Sun 00:30 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

2 x 4 on 4 off 00:30 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

1 x 4 on 4 off 03:00 start (1 delivery & 1 collection per shift around 12-13 hours per shift)

1 x Thu Sun 12:00 (manual handling and lifting baskets, offloading and pushing stock to the warehouse, reload your trailer, Double Decker's)

00:15 -04:00 weekends Ad Hoc drivers needed

Your role will include Trunking and Store Deliveries to Aldi and Lidl network plus collections.

The Role:

• You will be required to accurately and efficiently complete delivery of stock within timescales set.
• You will ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in line with legislation.
• You will attend any relevant training as required to ensure you remain fully equipped to perform your role effectively and to assist in the development of continuous improvement.
• You will be responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and other operatives by adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act.
• You will report any accident or damage to any equipment or machinery.
• You will be multi dropping deliveries to stores.
• Always keep your truck clean.

Experience and Qualifications

• You MUST hold a valid in date LGV HGV (C+E) Class 1 licence.
• You MUST hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• You MUST not have no more than 6 points on your licence.
• Your licence MUST have been held for at least 6 months.
• You MUST have experience for minimum 6 months.
• Commercial driving experience is desirable.
• You must be fully flexible in relation to shifts and duties.
• You must be able to provide a time critical delivery service in line with site KPIs including fuel efficiency.

Each driver will be required to pass an assessment prior to being given a full induction and training for the role.
