Job Description & Overview

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -Curtainsiders - No handballing but drivers must ensure the load is strapped
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: Holiday pay rolled up into pay rates - from £17.98 to £20.17
Additional Payments: £150 sign up payment (payable after 12 weeks)
Shifts: 7 day working operation -with AM and PM starts - Various shifts available
Experience : 12 months Class 1 experience essential
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experiencedHGV Class 1 Drivers in Rochdale to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving.
What You'll Do:
  • Safely operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned routes
    • Curtainsider vehicles transporting palletised goods
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
  • Ensure goods have been correctly loaded and are secure
  • Represent the company professionally at client sites

What You Need:
  1. A valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence with 12 months experience
  2. A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card and avalid Digital Tachograph card
  3. Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
  4. A professional attitude and good communication skills
You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
