Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is urgently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy logistics operation in Southampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 LGV Drivers seeking regular weekday work, competitive pay and long-term prospects within a modern logistics environment.

The role involves completing drop-and-swap deliveries, carrying out trailer checks and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

What We Offer

£18 per hour PAYE.

£22 per hour Umbrella PAYE.

Minimum of 8 hours paid per shift.

Start times between 6am and 7am.

Monday to Friday working pattern.

Ongoing work.

Key Duties

Complete 2-4 drop-and-swap movements.

Carry out all necessary trailer checks.

Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle.

Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

Previous shunting experience is preferred, although training can be provided.

Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.
